Hey, you know, I've always found that ironing is a topic people love.
Everyone has a view on it, it's true. Not sure whether I'm up to doing a sonnet on it yet, though. Maybe when I'm really stuck for a subject!

I grew up in the day when everything, and I mean everything, hadto be ironed--starched, sprinkled, rolled, covered, let set until just right and then ironed. It took hours and hours and hours. I would set up my ironing board beside the big console radio and iron to the sounds of what is now called golden oldies.

Amazingly, I completed the ironing within the duration of one CD.
I raced through it like the blazes. Made a few marks on one or two white shirts, mind, but then that's par for the course.
