I know I already commented on this post, but I gotta update you!  Since eating all organic (and following the organic weight loss program I'm on) I have SO MUCH ENERGY!  I feel amazing!!  I've lost 6.8 lbs - IN TWO DAYS! ...... but it's true, the real test is how you feel after you eat.  Well, I feel great all day long!!!!  I love it!!  Ooooh, but I am so jealous that you were eating mangoes!!!  I love mangoes, but they're off limits until I finish my diet.

My reply was self-explanatory! If you know the truth live it. Living a lie is to shoot yourself in the foot, or other places! Living is serious business!

You guys are lucky! Indian food is usually traditional varieties. I am sure you guys get your basmati, dhal, peas, curry and other foodstuffs, and fruits from India. Indians torched some of the GM cotton fields there. They know! Indians eat a lot of flour. Watch that! Watch the oils you cook with. Coconut and olive are good. Always read the labels! Thanks.

Sheilah it is rough. All day I have a hard time with food. I read all the labels, don't use sodas and other drinks yet GM stuff keeps cropping up. Today, I'm going to have me some mangoes! Thanks!

Not a bad idea! Go for foreign, unprocessed food. Visit your chinese, Indian, Caribbean or European suppliers. Try Basmati rice! No flour! I have one more post with some guidance!

Thanks! I only occasionally have some coffee. I settle for plain water. Curry is a healing food containing turmeric and other herbs. This I like! Daily food options, I work out  on the spot. Fruits, including mangoes and bananas , I have! The test is how you feel after eating. This way you can adapt accordingly!

You probably need to clean out with zeolite and rebuild with some ormus. Diabetes is helped by bitter melon. High blood pressure is tricky. It could be from radiation or  plaque.  Some liquid edta and serrapeptase would help. Cleaning  is important. Sensibly done, it can restore normal body functions. Beware of bleached flour, traces of the bleach are enough to cause diabetes. We have to be more aware of what goes into our bodies. Thanks!

There is a saying that you are what you eat. This perhaps means that the more subtle components of food give us a sense of health or disease. In the diseased mode, pursuits of the spirit are haphazard until we correct the problem. Good health is partially assured if we have wholesome food! Big Evil is a sad reality. Thanks!

Soul, I read your post today with great interest....
I changed my diet a few years ago and cut out a lot of unnecessary consumption.  Although I have to say it has made little or no difference to my diabetic and high blood pressure problems, it has helped enormously with my other internal digestive problems.  Yes you are right we do have to be careful what we eat and what we feed others but quite a lot of the minor additives are flushed out if you drink enough water.  Having said all that, how can we ever be sure what's in the food we eat?  Tricky situation being as food is a basic necessity.

Thanks! Your neck of the woods seems well taken care of! I live in the storm itself, where farmers markets are too few and far between to make it a permanent source of food. I try to go for things that I know are grown elsewhere. I gave up corn, soya, dairy products, supermarket fruits and a lot of veggies. I buy mainly stuff that I know comes from outside. The real test is how you feel after eating! Thanks again!

Thank you blacksnow! Is Vandana her name? I saw the documentary with an Indian lady, who was making a bank of seeds from traditional varieties! She had her own little farm and farm help. Of course, she was fighting Monsanto both in India and Europe! Very interesting Lady that! It must be her. Only today, I was thinking.... only Basmati rice for me from now on!

Have you heard
of the Gerson Therapy or the Gerson Institute? According to a documentary I recently saw this doctor had the cure for many things all in diet. How we consume these special foods and what we can do to improve over all health. I think if you haven't it might be something that would interest you.

Soul

In many respects making good food choices is common sense. Fresh fruits and vegetables are in abundance in one’s local “market” – typically farmed by local farmers still unaffected by Monsanto, etc. In British Columbia we can even boast that our fish, our albacore tune for example, has an average level of mercury is 0.1656 ppm which is about 66% below Canadian federal food safety standards and 83% below USFDA safety standards. Not all is doom and gloom. Fast foods – that’s another matter altogether…..

at the European steal and patent contest; with law for saving Basmati, grown by Indians for thousadns of years. If we support small farmers through farmers' markets, we are voting and speaking out. If we buy organic (despite everyone claiming they are organic these days) it will send a mnessage. Buy a home with a backyard, or rent a garden---make a difference. When capitalism gets sick and deathly through avarice, all earth catches stomach cancer! We have arrived in an age where we are FIGHTING TO SURVIVE AS AN UNADULTERATED, evolution-inspired-and-=derived species. The politicians will sell their mothers and children GM foods because they don't care, they won't thinkl, or they are too smart for thei own good. It's not being 'shook' that kills you. I would be a ghost now, if that were true. It is the poisons we ingest. The effort should be to get rid of the poisons from the system. Talk to you later. I have to go out! Thanks!

I try to eat foods produced in other countries which use less chemicals etc. If i see a beautiful fruit or veggie, I leave it alone. I look for those less perfect , even insect eaten. That way I am sure I am getting something eatable. The trick is to clean out the pesticides and the heavy metals. Yeah! sometimes you have to eat what you get.  I will do a post this week on the Prophecies of  Mitar Tarabich. Then, you will get the drift! Thanks!

What to do?

Hi! I've read (and translated to Hungarian) Jane Goodall's book: Harvest For H. Although in many subjects I don't agree with the lady, this book is excellent in describing the way our food is produced. Frankenstein food, fast food, etc... etc... It's shocking how filthy our food. But to avoid these harms you must be either very wealthy, (because real bio food is much more expensive), or must be able to produce your own food.

You know, I allways think, that God will protect us, if we belive them, from these evils, and if not, well, there is a reason for that too. I mean, if one must lieve a hundered years, then he will, even if he eats junk. And if I die at the age at 65, or 35, it Doesn't make a difference to dye from garbvage food, or be killed in an accident.

And one more thing, I have to admit, I liket fastfood, and many canned food as well. And like my grandgrandfatherr's brother said: "I prefer to die from it, then die for it."

Cheers

Brian

Antonio...
The fish has to come from remote seas and rivers. Plastics are everywhere releasing mercury. In the Pacific ocean, there is an equivalent of the sargasso sea, where the plastic has been photographed. Potato has Alpha Lipoic which is good for you. But it is also carbs! I try to eat yams and tubers which are healing in themselves. Organic is a good lifestyle to adopt. Growing your own veggies and salad plants is a good idea. This can be done all year! Thanks!

Hi - oh damn, I thought I was healthy eating fish instead of meat!
Still, I recently stopped eating battered cod because of the unnecessary fatty coating of fried batter, and now just have plain white fish, with peas and potatoes. I've been told potatoes aren't that good for you, but the jackets provide roughage. I did a sonnet on roughage not so long ago, I seem to recall. Thanks - educational, if worrying...
