THE COMING RELIGIOUS WAR
Not to sound smart-alec, but the "religious war" has been ongoing for some time. And the people who suffer the most are the innocents, suffering under others' withering slaughter.  joab

that is true

however we have a president who probably regards himself as the spokesperson for all these religious types -- and that is dangerous

he invaded Iraq.  what next?

The Coming Religious War Will Devastate The World
Xeno-X: It only takes a few people to agitate for war.  I don't believe that the majority of average citizens in any country want wars.

yes you are correct

however, many Christians seem to be making this a religious war.  Not all, because I know quite a few who aren't.

if you read some Christian bloggers on this site you will notice an attitude that seems to foment hostility toward Muslims.  These are few, to be sure, but vocal minorities give the appearance to the outside world of speaking for the silent majority.  It would be a shame were the world to explode in a conflagration resulting from the warmongering of a very few.

Xeno-x: I agree with you that the United States turns a blind eye towards Israel.  We should engage openly with the Palestinians.  However, I don't think that Christians are to blame for it, at least, not as much as you implie.  Because we have failed to invest in the past with renewable sources of energy and are controlled by a corporate plutocracy of sorts, controlling the Middle Eastern oil supply is vital to our continued preeminence as a global military power.  The Arabs believe that this is a religious war; I'm not sure that the Bush Administration believes it too.  To them, it's more about making sure that the oil flows smoothly.  I do agree with you that it's destroying us in a moral and economic way.

I pretty much see the same scenario. Other seers ( read the articles  on predictions  and prophesy in Nexus magazine , online!) seem to see the same thing. It is perhaps a certainty, though one must leave room for unknown happenings. Many will not take notice until their comfort zones are intruded on!
