Good luck
I'm committed to losing weight too, and I notice that the weeks I lose weight are those that I fill up on fresh fruit and veggies and keep that image of a lighter me to the forefront of my mind. WeightWatchers is a really good programme which you can build all the other suggestions into too. There's a girl in the class I go to who needed to lose 20 lbs and did it in 8 weeks. You could join online if you don't have the time to go to a class.

Good luck

Food Changes

I agree with most of the suggestions, More Fresh Fruits and Veggies, pre-pack your own if possible.  Complex carbs are best, such as brown rice, Whole Wheat or Rye Bread, Sweet potatoes (not regular ones).  You can look online for more Complex carb foods.  And eating Small meals 4 to 6 times a day is best, it keeps your metabolism running all day. (that was recommended to me by my Dr over 15 years ago, and I've always lived that way with no problems)

The colder the water the better!  You can run your metabolism to burn 75% more calories with drinking Ice water vs room temp.

Look at the foods you like, and see what alternatives you can switch to, such as Bread, try the Whole Wheat or Rye or Pumpernickel.    The best kind of snacks are apples, oranges, bananas, yogurt, any fresh fruit or veggie really, they're easy to pack or grab quick, and if you look at the cost it's not much more than a candy bar!!

Most important to remember is to EAT!!  Starving or Fasting lowers your metabolism, and causes all kinds of issues!

Well hope this helps... I will be putting more Health tips on my blog soon.

losing weight
I have got this recipe from a hospital that used to treat patients to lose weight fast for surgery. I try this with a few friends who complained that they have tried everything but doesn't work. So I gave them this and the feed back was very positive. I tried out the recipe myself and I still used it once a while whenever I want to lose weight or to clean out some waste inside.

The most important thing to remember is ' do not take any food after 7.00pm!'. Why? Your digestive system shut down after the eyes detect nightfall. Remember you are not a nocturnal creature like the mouse which comes out only after dark. Our human system works the opposite way. The night supper, you take will only go into storage and you body goes sideway and out. The moment you change your habit of eating, your weight will come down. Have a good breakfast, medium lunch and light dinner. I only take fruits and liquid at night. You will feel wonderful when the system is getting right.

Here is the secret recipe.

2 tomatoes, 2 stalks of celery, 2 carrots, 2 capsicum (green pepper or red pepper)

Chopped those up into small cubes. Add in a packet of campbell's chicken soup for taste.

Boil them in a pot with three quarter water for half an hour. Let cool and drink this soup whenever you are hungry. Nothing else except this soup for seven days.  I lost 5 kgs in 7 days and I feel good.

Sounds to me like you're on the right track
I think exercise is more important. I often see thin people eating junk food, but I rarely see a fat person exercising.

eat lots of veggies and fruit-veggies-especially fresh ones count for nothing  on the calorie scale and they are good for you. I lost 17 pounds through wieghtwatchers last year if I was still hungry I grabbed a corrot.

losing weight

If you find that you're hungrier after eating than before  And there is a history of diabetes in family, you might want to check out your blood sugars.

The only way I can tame the hungry monster is by strictly limiting the carbs I eat.  If I eat more than 200 carb calories a meal, guess what starts roaring.   But don't just add protein dripping with fats or butter either.  Lean protein is the lowest in calories.  I'm currently on a 1200 --or lower calorie a day diet  for the last 6 months or so.  For me, the exercise part is tough.  I'm also a diabetic on insulin  with insulin resistance problems which means it's really, really, hard for me to lose.

Good luck,

keep up the good work

You have to cut down on food--change what you eat then

Switch foods completely. Salads and fruits. No carbs unless they are complex carbs. Sounds like you need a cleanout. Get a blood cleanser from a herbal store, try enemas or some castor oil on your offday. Don't snack! No sugars either. Your system is out of whack. Try HOODIA! Seems it has a following! Cheers!
