In my day this phase was when you played your favorite records
at the wrong speed so the sentimental croon becomes squawking dissonance. Before you can shut them off and smash the vinyl to smithereens, you'll be laughing your ass off. There's a light feeling on your shoulders when you finally let go of "might have been in another dimension, but no chance in hell here." Hope you feel better soon.
