Well, um, actually... Are you psychic or something?  Chuckle  I am collaborating on a book at the moment.  Not about my poetry, although it will have some in it.  AmMused

Re: This was really top notch, AmMused, and to my mind didn't need much
Thank you, Antonionioni, for your kind words.  I appreciate your comments.  I wasn't sure if everyone would understand some of the references but I guess what happened then is still happening now, just in other places.  Sad that this poem should be so timeless in those respects.  AmMused

Re: crisis of faith
Thank you, Rebecca for your kind words and for sharing your story.  A personal relationship with a loving God is much more fulfilling, isn't it!  AmMused

This was really top notch, AmMused, and to my mind didn't need much
explanation or justification, except maybe about the dead child. But nevertheless it was interesting to read your notes too. Well done - great post.

crisis of faith
I was brought up a catholic and my parents were very strict about faith, today i have faith but its not in the church itself its in god. God to me is a personal, loving god, that dos'nt have to be bought, prayed to day and night and is not judgemental of anyone. unfortunitley there are very sick people in this world with very high responsibilties in it. organised religion is not for me but i do believe in life after death and that there is a god and its not ME. we only have to look at the unkept beauty in the world to realise the real god. people will use the name god in vain but its those who will meet there maker. I am grateful for everything i have today, good, bad, indifferent. we all go through ups and downs as its life. I loved your poem because alot of it is true. never give up praying and meditating to the god you love, the god that condems different people and religons is man made in my eyes because god loves all. x

Good morning, Soul Builder101!  Love the name.  Exercise is key to building anything.  Souls included.  This post describes the first hesitant foot on the treadmill towards health.  I thank you for your comments and compliment.  Meow!  chuckle  AmMused

Being stuck in the doldrums of life is not good. Subsequent confirmations give a direction to pursue or a cat's eye to enlighten. Extremely good writing!

I was moved by this... but i am also ever so blessed to have
been rasied  in and now be a member of good God loving churches. You are an excellent writer

Re: AmMused
Interesting, you should say that.  Being mad as anything at something just confirms its existence and significance in your life.  You can't be mad at something that doesn't exist.  LOL  AmMused.

Re: As a Sufi Christian (Buddhist, Muslim, Goddess Seeker, etc)
Hmm, sounds like me: A Gnostic Spiritualist walking the Right Red Road (Native American spiritual philosophy) with Christian roots.  I call myself a student of life and a seeker of knowledge.  AmMused

As a Sufi Christian (Buddhist, Muslim, Goddess Seeker, etc)
Saddly too much truth in your poem and happily we are growing, one light at a time
