They don't always realize they're doing bad things. He might be able to prove he's crazy, in that he believed a child's mother would sell her online... or maybe I'm just out of the loop.

How anyone can have the slightest compassion for someone like this.....regardless of the fact that he is obviously sick.....is beyond me.  He is still capable of making decisions, and his is to satisfy himself at the cost of a baby girl.  This is the kind of story that makes me start thinking of really vile and horrendous things I'd like to do to him....almost frightening how evil the imagination can be....

Here in South Carolina,

The Department of Corrections makes sex offenders wear pink jumpsuits. Apparently, some of the inmates have filed a lawsuit saying that the pink suits points them out to the rest of the population, who abuse them mightily. With a lot of luck, this one will get tossed.

Although I'm thinking of a suitable punishment involving a nail gun, a burning barn, a bench, and this guy's jewels. Take it from there.

and the perpetrator is generally a family member or a close friend of the family. In this case the mother was accessory? I'm sorry, I may be mistaken but I don't want to read it again.

I do commend you for posting this. Most people avoid talking about it, much the same way family members turn a blind eye or refuse to believe children. I wrote a lot about this subject not too long ago. I believe my posts were too shocking, didn't get much response. I wrote a poem titled Listen When a Child Cries. I don't think I got any response matter of fact. It's a difficult subject for most people to address. Child molestation is similar to rape, both are akin to murder, only in many cases without support the victim becomes the walking dead, living with the torment of the secret because a victim is often times considered physically as well as emotionally damaged, if believed at all.

As far as the perpetrator is concerned, I agree with Dark Heart and have voiced my opinion many times herein. In these cases, I believe the OT laws still apply; an eye for an eye. I believe they are sick and the only way for them to connect with the victim (rehab) is to become one (maybe again) because a large percentage of the male perpetrators were molested as children as well. I know that may sound crass, bitter and inhumane. I've written a fiction piece called Hell Island regarding child molesters and rapists, more or less a hell on earth. I can't seem to justify it in my mind in any other terms.

A quick relocation to general population at any one of our illustrious prisons with a quick word to a "gentle" inmate would assure he learned the pain and horror of what he has done "many times" first hand... over and over again....

thank you for having the courage to write about this, my feelings exactly, but i am sure there are mothers and fathers out there that would sell their children to these sick bastards.  and that makes them as bad or worse.  it stands to reason if he has done this many times the parents are selling their children.  some sick people in this world.
