We have wind
turbines here too, there is one at the end of the river that runs past our place, but I have never seen it that close up.  Kinda looks like a work of art, un-like the nuclear power plant... There's one of those right at that place where I took those pictures of the lighthouse with the carp flying off of it too.  Looks like a great trip!  Its best to stay away from the pub... if you're going to ride home, have a cold one waiting in the fridge when you get there!  (Don't mean to sound like a mother hen, but once I was convinced into drinking one cup sake at the top of a mountain which I was to ski down, UGH!)

You daughter has good taste! I love Boston myself, and wish I'd knew it better than I do. Qubec city has it's own charm, unique in North America. For me Halifax is special, because I have lived there and holds a wealth of memories for me! Also, I still have very good friends there...

I forgot to "respond" as to where my mother and daughter went on their cruise....I finally found a copy of their Ports of Call....New York, Boston, Bal Harbor, Halifax, Quebec City, Corner Brook and Sydney.  They went on a couple of excursions in Quebec City and really enjoyed them.  Actually, my daughter called this morning and said QC and Boston were her favorite Ports.

I am trying to fit in at least four long rides a week, ranging from between 25 to 50 miles or so. Mind you, I am strictly a 'fine weather cyclist', and once it gets cold, the bike gets put a way. I am lucky in that I am working out of my house, and my time is reasonably flexible.

And what kind of cruise are your mother and daughter on? East Coast or West Coast? My coast is the East Coast, as you can see from my posts...

Thanks. Those signs were only installed this year, which is quite surprising to me...

And the trip continues.....how often do you go on these adventures?  Did I mention that my daughter and mother are on a cruise and a lot of it is visiting parts of Canada and vicinity....I'm looking forward to their photos, too.  Thanks for sharing this...
