Being beaten, scorned and abused by foreign occupiers?
We justifiably don't accept being dealt with that way by our own forces - police brutality, etc. Of course, there are those who are willingly blinded and led like sheep by political figures, but I bet if they or those dear to them were subjected to humiliating and constant, violent treatment, they'd be uprising mighty quick..

The answer is no. America and Britain will definitely not accept that.

It's all about greed and money. Any notion of bringing peace to a country in turmoil went out the window a long time ago. The U.S. presense and the investment firms profiteering has now become a window into the soul (or lack thereof) of the Bush administration.
