When I was just a little girl my father was cited for not making a complete stop at a stop sign.  My father and mother both insisted he did make a complete stop.  They went to court over it and while in the court room my mother insisted that my father stopped.  She kept talking until the judge threatened Contempt of Court.  My father finally said, "Wife, be quiet!  You are costing me money."  She was determined to defend my father.

My father payed the ticket, although he felt it was wrong.

First, go dressed very nicely, office attire

it will make  you look responsible. Next, never interrupt the judge. Be very respectful and serious. Talk firmly but resonably. Explain yourself briefly, do not go on and on and on.

Hopefuly you will be lucky and you will get your fee reduced or even taken off!

I was slapped a ticket for speeding which required me to pay a fine of RM350 ( about USD100 ). When I went to the counter to pay the fine, I had a slow talk with the officer-in-charge and had my fine reduced RM180. Maybe I was lucky.
