Progressive is usually great. Everyone has the same story as you have. I guess they are making sure the other side in this deal who were all totally wrong does right.

I have Nationwide insurance, but I was hit last year by
a guy who had Progressive. His insurance paid and they couldn't have been any better at handling the claim. They told me where to take my car and gave me a rental for a week - truely painless. I'm sorry you're having troubles with them over a claim.
