I don't have the answer because I too have difficulty letting go of "bitterness".  If I feel I've been misjudged or dealt an injustice it makes my blood boil and I stew over it (usually in silence).  Time - yup - that's the only cure or counting all your other blessings.

In doing this the company shows it has little respect for you...I think I would find another job. If not.....you have to let it go or it will eat you alive. You're too nice for that!

The bitterness is justified. If it was me, I'd look for another job and leave their poor management behind. You built the area so you must be good. The best revenge would be to get yourself a better manager in a better job who rewards a good worker instead of demoralizing them.
