Clearing the air is good and takes real uni-lateral courage. Good move.

Thank you, Sweetie!  You are right.  I should embrace my emotions, for they truly are healing.  And I do know that no matter how much pain I feel while I am on Maui, my trip will be absolutely wonderful overall.  I do so love that island!

Jemmie,

I'm glad you're feeling a bit better now.  As for the pain you might feel, don't fear it...embrace it.  You have every right to your pain.  My great-grandfather died almost tweleve years ago now, and it still feels unbearably raw to me some days.

Have a fantastic time in Maui!

I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

I wish for you the best, Jemmie.  I am sorry about the loss of your father.

Oh I have tons of coworkers.  But I have only two in my individual office.

You only have two coworkers?

You must work in a really small office.

I remember that after my own father died, the rest of us took a trip to Europe to "escape".

Although, actually, we had planned to do that, anyway (even before he died).
