Yes, I found it interesting as well. And actually, from what I have been able to gather, Jesus was more anti-Essene then Essene. He may have followed the teachings of more liberal Essenes, but was not a follower of the more strict and conservative sect found in the deserts near Judea. Thanks for the visit.
