I do respect and love my self, and my kids have been my focus all my life, I dont go looking for men. Its when I'm asked out on a date that I have trouble. I don't, feel i should sleep with every man I meet. Im encountered all the time about it.People tell me the same thing you do, trouble is if you look back,at things how many times did you feel uncertained when you respected yourself, and were honest about everything, but still the guy didnt get it. didn't it bother you that you werent respected? As for it happening I dont give up hope, but I do feel like I'm tarnished.

Your story sparkes a memory or 6. Been there done that and it may have been said a million times before but you wont find love and respect until you love and respect yourself. I use to live each day wondering will I ever find a man willing to take on me and my kids then I stopped looking and focused on me and the kids. Then along he came, it will happen.
