Re: Hi Damond,
richinstore, you sure are right about that. My wife and I were discussing all that we had been through together the day that I wrote this one. During a short lull in the conversation I wrote the poem. My wife loved it; she doesn't always like what I write, but is coming to like them more now than she did in the past when I only wrote stories that were usually based on true events but hardly ever 100% accurate.
Thanks for commenting.

at the time during those days I live in augusta Ga. THe turtle is easy to prepare If you know how to go about it. After you kill the turtle and put him out of his misery you boil a tub of water big enough to put turtle in while he is still fresh due to the fact he is cold blooded and will squirm around the hole time your cleaning him this makes it easier boil just long enough to kill the nerves. As for the ell you skin them like a cat fish but the trick with them is they have a main blood vein that runs down their spine it must be removed it not hard to do ell is delicious, delicacies in lots of places. The turtle has like 7 different tasting meats you can learn more about it on the internet i'm sure good luck and thanks. PS if I can help just drop me a line / spinner
