Myu family can be the biggest pain in the ass ever --

and I love them dearly for it. I would kill or die for them. Which is good, because usually a few days into a holiday or something, the first verb is crossing my mind repeatedly.

I cannot imagine what it would be like out here without their love. I am the luckiest dude that ever walked the face of the earth, in every sense of the word and every aspect of my life.

Parents should be treasured, nobody gets outa here alive!
You are right on target reminding folks to appreciate still having parent problems because their presence in our lives is only temporary, at best. I wish that your experience had been happier but adversity really does temper one into a stronger person, just as fire does to steel. Stay strong, Redhead.  Guy

I try not to take anything for granted. My Mom can drive me crazy, but I love her and appreciate her, in spite of the many mistakes she made when I was younger. I wish I had a dad to hug. I find that people also complain about husbands, wives, kids...and those of us who never had a family and spend every waking  moment of our lives alone and will have no one to take care of us when (if) we get old...well...we get irritated.

I love my parents and tell them everyday...I have written many blogs on how much they mean to me and how I spend alot of time with them, many even say excessive time since I see them almost every single day...they are both in their 60's so I treasure every day I have with them but sometimes they piss me off lol they annoy me...If I dont call them cause I didnt see them one day they call and ask if im dying or something lol...that can be annoying when im trying to have a sleep in but I wouldnt trade my parents for anything in the world..I was born lucky and loved.  You can come and hug my parents anytime ya want...thou my dad will curl up his nose like he does when you show him affection even thou he loves it lol..my folks will be more than happy to give ya a hug whenever ya want one...they have been there for my friends my whole life...I have quiet a few that have parents like yours and they love my parents for stepping in where theses refused to go.

Well that's sad.
Are you're husband's parents living? Can you hug them?

Never perfect, often unappreciated, sometimes a bother, but always loved.  Was that them or was that me?

redheaded
I had a hard time to tell my mom I loved her, but she heard me say it the day she died, last year.  Now I tell my kids never to stop saying it to me, they all say it every time they talk to me, I am sorry you had such a sad life
