Do you want the name of a better neurologist?

I don't think of headaches as an MS thing, that's for sure...unless it is caused by the MS medicine, in which case, up the ibuprofen you take to 2 or 3 tablets and make sure you have them in your system before injecting. Try to time the injection so that you sleep through the worst of the post-injection headache. If it's med side effects that are bothering you, they do eventually subside. I have no problems at all and did not even think of that as a reason for headache until I started typing. Then I remembered...

Is there anything I can do to help? There used to be an MS support group I went to near where you live now. I think they disbanded in the past couple years or were swalloweed up by another group. I can probably put you in touch with some of the women who are active MS advocates in your area. The MS society has a lot of programs that you don't even know about unless you know someone who knows about them... they have good county vocational rehab programs, help in housing accommodations, etc. which I had learned about from the group meetings, although I did not need them myself.

email if you want to talk or to ask more-

RedHeadedGypsy
I read your post yesterday and then decided to check out the link you had suggested http://multiplesclerosissucks.com/ before commenting.  You wouldn't believe how long I spent there checking out all the different pages.  Needless to say, I never did get back here to comment.  I sure hope that your pain of yesterday has lessened a little to give you some respite.

A friend of mine suffers from fibromyalgia and has been controlling her pain for years with marijuana...its the only thing that helps...she suffers massive pain but swears it takes the edge off and lets her get on with her day...since she has 3 young children she needs to get on with her day ...I dont know if you have tried it and yes I know its illegal but if it works thats all that matters.

Redheaded.........
Watch the anti-depressants, they are not good for you.....can turn people homicidal or suicidal! Valium is good for keeping a cool head..... buy them off the internet!

wow, I've had headaches and pain, but yours seems to stay with you
day and night.  i'd be ready to kidnap a doctor and put a hammer to his head and tell him he needs to give me a shot of something strong to take away the pain NOW!
