Separation of church and state demands that parents see their kids are
educated in the religion of their choice, if that is what they choose, and specifically not educated in a religion chosen by their government.  When I was a kid we pledged allegiance to the flag, of the United States of America as "one nation under god with liberty and justice for all" which actually violates the principle of freedom of religion because athiests were required to say it.

The summer had its moments, but as always autumn looks good after the heat.
