Yes but Jesus is more than a Guru. You see a guru tells you to empty yourself so that you can be filled with the truth he offers. Jesus asks his disciples to give up all so that he can fill them up with himself. In Luke's gospel, Jesus tells Martha: "You worry yourself about a lot of things when only one thing is needed". That "one thing" is Jesus himself.

Very interesting! A Guru usually requires you to give up ALL before he accepts you.
