While I agree we're always working through the fog, I do think that there is an endpoint.

You're absolutely right. It is a process. But there is an endpoint. There is a point where reunification with the Divine ends the process.

we see through a glass darkly
we never achieve total enlightenment

only partial

the fog dissipates to some extent, but never lifts entirely.

we just have to maneuver through the fog the best we can.

I don't see enlightenment as a destination
but more of a process. I'm more enlightened today than I was yesterday, but less than I will be tomorrow.
