Oh God, I've also had teachers like that when I was a freshman in college.  My Investigation Method teacher spent the entire semester talking about that concept too. We were desperate.

Fascinating stuff, and very well presented, I must say.
I'm taking Geology this semester, and I'm really looking forward to learning all about earthquakes, volcanic activities, and such, but gosh, my professor is just a slow talker. He spent the last two class sessions telling us (or more, like, debating with himself) "what science is", and I tell you, he's not even half way done with that, yet.

These are stunning pictures Matie..I did not know that about Aruba...

I have had the pleasure of admiring the Andes and always felt very small in their presence. Wonderful post..
