I've shopped around on your blog. One question:
Why aren't you writing professionally? Editing a magazine? Working on your novel? You know you're capable and talented. I'm hoping your blogging here is a little break from your real passion. And writing/getting the opposite gender is, as you point out, necessary if we're to write anything worth reading.
