Irish, I have to agree with Teddy - take a breather and re-charge
it would be such an extreme waste of talent to give up writing altogether. Whatever is taking you away I hope you can work it out and come back to us. In the meantime God bless and may your next move be the best for you

Irish, Even though I'm a person who doesn't do a lot of poetry, I can

Can feel your pain, friend...
if this is your reason for leaving, I suggest thinking it through...you are a writer. Do as so many others have done and take a break. Breathe a little. then get back to work doing what you really want to do. Great piece, Linda.
