There are honest mistakes here. Then there are the EGOS. Then, those who write 'you shouldn't be stopping your medications'. Then my comments are those belonging to the kind with a religious BENT. Amazing how writers play games.

RaeS
A beautiful post. I just did another poem and it is exactly from this way of thinking. Jesus is a refresher, re-builder and a forgiving blanket for us to warm in when the coldest of hurt comes our way. You were talking to me here. Thank you so much. Much love lady.

A gift for all parties involved, I believe, Holy Grail
It is a hard and heavy burden, indeed. Thank you for reading, commenting.

People also tend to forget that you forgive for yourself, to rid yourself of a burden, not as a "gift" to the person you're forgiving. It's tough carrying around anger and negativity.

Dave, I agree there are evil entities who need to be strictly in God's

judgement - Hitler comes to mind as do those who harm the innocent; child molesters, murderers, etc. I am not advocating blanket forgiveness or trust. Good people make mistakes, have flaws and dealing with hurt inflicted by delivering more of the same is not conducive to healing.

On being Godlike - I believe Jesus was here to teach us how to live and be more fully His traits of Love.

I thank you, Sir, for reading and responding so thoughtfully.

RaeS wonderful thoughtful words of wisdom....
so often we forget the truths taught us....or forget to listen, and or be kind. Thanks for the reminders....have a great day and weekend girl.

The reality is that there are enemies...not of my substance... who profit from your willingness to forgive. I can't forgive...only God can re-write life-scripts! Enemies have to face the punishment for their bad karma...as you sow you reap! None of my wishing or pretensions to godhood can change that. There is a clear SUBSTANCE difference between good folks and bad folks. It is not like 'we are all human beings, let's learn to live with each other'. THe evil conspirators( and evil is a conspiring force) who suppress others in order to 'shine' and rule the earth have scripted their own doom by their 'sowing'!

For those who don't believe in a higher power...
Love, forgiveness, trust, sharing and hope are all attributes of a happy and healthy life.
