Thanks for popping in everyone - great comments!
Am bit short of time - as Mary said I am going soon so I am cooking something to eat and writing today's sonnet at same time, then off out to Tania and Josephine's, and we will leave for the coast from there tomorrow morning. Mariaki, it's Belgian beer, called Stella Artois to give it its full name!! That's fine, Dave, I appreciate the gesture. So long, and thanks for all the peas.

Tony - Just popping in as I thought maybe you'd posted a sonnet early
today since you are leaving for holiday on Saturday. In case I miss you (My day will be busy when I get out of here) I want to wish you and your wife and Josephine an absolutely terrific time together! Have fun, enjoy and smile!
And don't forget your

Oh and 'suds' is another term in North America for beer.

Hi Tone, I'm sure you won't mind but I listed this in
Blogit Gold Dust which is a new listings kind of blog thingy I've started. If you do mind, of course, just let me know and I'll unlist it.

Tony, that was a really good one. 'Age's enlarging wound' was an inspired phrase. Carpe diem. I always need reminding that I'm not immortal, though I've known it forever.

Hi Soul Builder - yes, I can imagine!
I didn't have much sleep, though. Kept waking up through dehydration. Still, I only have a beer or two when i want to play guitar, which is only once a week or less.

I got an email years ago in which having a beer was compared to having a girlfriend.... beer won comprehensively!

Antonio-yo-yo - Ha, ha. Well, no suds for this lady. That was playful and
fun. Which reminds me, when do you go on holiday? Soon, I think, yes? Wilely's book arrived in the post today and I have read some of it. Great stuff! I 'see' me in his words. Guess that is how he saw himself in mine. Yes, I see the similarities you spoke about. Hope you sleep well this evening.
