Hi everyone - thanks for your comments.
I'll not attempt another of those for a few days. I only just had time to eat last night before bedtime!

Tony
Not at all - I think it's brilliant - alliteration and "I'll 'it er"-ation.... domestic violence and a dodgy villain too.

Antonio-yo-yo - Maybe so, these are difficult to write. I think you did
well.  That's a lot of 'h' words.

I can't wait for when you do Z. Similarly to an earlier comment, this one reminded me of Ogden, Stan. Just in case you missed it... EXCLUSIVE! Photo of the back of the head of Tony Oniony Oniony (sonneteer)

Hi Rumored - yes, I rewrote it a couple of times as well because
at the start, Horace was a nice character but then he turned into a murderer so I had to change most of it! Thanks!

This one calls Ogden Nash to mind.
Nash and Richard Armour are two of my favorite poets, maybe the only two, outside of Blogit.  Since they both specialized in humorous, or light verse, and everyone likes a good laugh (except maybe the masochists) maybe you should give light verse a try.  I don't know about on your side of the big pond, but I understand there is still a pretty good market for light and humorous verse on this side.  I believe it was Armour who used to say "light verse, heavy purse."

Tony, hey, how you managed to get all those "h"'s in there is amazing
and the sonnet form stays intact...well done.....(I can see why it took you some time to put it all together)
