The actual source of that is an old record sleeve from when i was eleven which I got for my birthday in January and used to listen to from January to about March on the headphones in the living room while others were watching telly or reading and the fire was on!

Purple is my favourite colour as well. Ironically this morning I was reading the significance of "birthstones". Mine is amethyst. It said: Derived from the Greek meaning "not drunk". (eh?) It is believed to bring its wearers peace of mind by controlling evil. If you want to keep negative energy away wear amethyst.
