It is sobering but it is true. Some of us because of living good lives have managed to beat it comprehensively.What shows up as behavior is directed by us. I still fight it all the time. When you look at the people in the world you can see who has lost to it and who have won. Yoga calls it the NOT-SELF! Pride/ego is one of it's main ways of behaving. Christianity helped me to beat it without even knowing it was there. Once I found out I did what was required. Then those on the outside pounced on me to give it life. They are still trying and losing. I experience it because I found the stillness within, and it is a clever influencer. It puts suggestions in your consciousness as to what to engage in and what to refrain from, what to do or not do, what to believe or not believe. When you consciously decide, that is soul. When you are lead or driven to do things...that is the personal devil you have to deal with. When you empty your consciousness on paper, you detect even his slightest efforts at influencing you!

just use excuses,!!!!!!! and pride, i think if i can overcome, why cant eveyone else, i probably have all the deadly sins living inside me, and i want to use excuses why they are there.

i read alot, but i guess i dont always understand exactly what someone
is trying to say, you have to be blunt with me, i also tend to want to see the whole picture before i can understand a piece of it. i have to decipher (pick apart) everything, my family thinks i am naive, it doesnt bother me, i like people to explain things to me, because i learn so much more than the explaination.

In this piece I was saying that some people don't understand what suffering people are going through and won't lend a helping hand. This is often because the qualities the soul lives by are dead. When this happens, the devil takes over and gives you his attitude ie suffering people who say so are feeling sorry for themselves.
Do you read a lot or a little!

Sorry for the wording...sometimes I can say it simply sometimes the only way to say it is with the words I use! I type without preparation. What you read is as it flows out. I apologize! I don't want to be rich! I want to be rid of my problems which takes much more than I have right now. When I was Teaching, I made good money! I used it wisely, helping as I went along! Indulgence is the thief of spirituality. Getting rich takes a lot of plotting.....and sinning!

i like reading you, i dont understand it all, and you use alot of words i
have to look up, which isnt a bad thing. you write a lot deeper than i do. when i post, it is alot of generalisms. the big, bigger, biggest thing i can relate to, as me and my family have talked about this among ourselves. i drive a 13 year old toyota pickup, our home is modest, i would rather talk to a poor man than a rich one. and just to end this, not long ago there was a race across america, 3 teams, one took a northern route one a central route and one a southern route. they went without money and had to rely on the gererousity of strangers. the one thing they all notices is that the poorest of the people helped them more than even the churches. so i ask you, why would you want to be rich. if it is truely as hard for a camel to fit through the eye of a needle as a rich man to get into heaven, well why indeed.

Thanks for your comments and your visit. Satan has so far succeeded in being 'disbelieved'. He hides his 'dirty hands'. The system has not really changed but evolves into a greater and greater beast!

from the past and continues into the present and will keep on presenting itself as a materialistic system of fake happiness and real suffering behind the fake ness, i have always thought that we still have feudal lords , knights, peasents and serfs. just look around it ain't hard to figure out who is who.
