Hi, hope the flu has subsided.  Zoos give me mixed emotions; I sometimes regard the caged animals and feel that I can really identify with them - that makes me sad.  Then I regard the jubilant faces of my children on a trip to the zoo and that makes me smile.  Huge cost - hard to weigh up the benefits of zoos.  Anyway enough babbling hope you are doing okay.  lol

It is really sad what happens to animals in cages. they dont deserve it.
How are you dear?  Are you home yet?

The last time I went to our zoo here (and it is a very nice zoo as zoos go)  it was so hot I felt sorry for the animals seeking out every bit of shade.  We finally left the real live part and ended up in the cool, a/c of the IMAX theatre and watched the animals on screen.  Where did the idea of "zoos" ever come from?
