Hi Mneme - yes, but what is 30 years? Only a blink!
I associate that time with scoffing this enormous piece of rock I bought while on holiday that year - a particularly unsunny summer, rather like this one!

Wow, this takes me back. I was a newly-wed in our first home; my brother was working in the area and staying with us. Was it really so long ago?

Most excellent effort, sir.
I'm grateful we don't bump heads on the same topic very often. You put my mere listing of song titles to shame, sir. I scanned over several of your other recent bits that I'd missed due to all my recent computer troubles. Liked all the alien stuff, including the lead-in and lead-out. I'm looking forward to a more leisurely ready of them, and the rest, over the weekend.

Yes, Proc - I wondered about that line but in the end I went with it.
It's quite funny I think - not meant to be serious. Blimey, whata lot of connections you know of with this date.

Hey, my first crush was on Elvis and Danny Kaye (joint position) I was a
weird child with access to shockingly bad tv. No contemporary movies in my childhood, just old classics.
My sister's getting married in Vegas Sept 10th. I can't go, no bobs.

Hmmmm, line ten is rather dodgy sir. you meant to play on the words didnt
you? Ive always thought the 16th August is significant for 4 reasons,Maddona and my daughter were born,Elvis died and two years ago a friend's teenage son committed suicide....
