Afraid it is in some places, Spyridon. Yes, it brings out the crazies...

Didn't realize it was that bad in England. Night brings us a different world compared to day.

Thanks Mariaki and Chris - let's hope something is done soon.
Today's sonnet is going to be on a lighter topic...

Hi Tony-well written! It's not a good thing to be out after dark alone---
not even here where I live! 'Deaths'-from 'blades' beatings-whatever-is almost becoming a regular thing!Gov;should NOT have allowed 'open all hours' in pubs etc.I am not going to start-because I won't stop-just to say this country of ours is turning fast into the 'pits'!!
God bless-Chris.

Sadly, this is so true
Having been away from London for many years I returned for a long holiday because I thought I had missed it - only to be rudely brought down to earth by comments like "where are you going it's dark you can't go to the offy now!" or "if you go upstairs to the loo make sure you close and lock the downstairs windows."

Thanks for your comments all of you - I wrote it really late last nite when
very tired. Thank goodness it was quick as I really needed to go to bed! Hopefully I can read a few posts later today or tonight.

Antonio-yo-yo - I posted a poem about life on the streets tonight, too!
We're synchronizing again. This touched my heart, it really did. I understand the danger all too well, believe me as I've learned my lessons. At least I hope I have. But there's a huge part of me so feels for these people of whom fall through the cracks. Good work, Tony.
