I respect the strength of character you have to possess in order to do that. While in this situation you find yourself ruled by an egomaniac to a degree, know that you ultimately hold the power in your hands. If you didn't he wouldn't seek to control you as he does. Know that he wields what little authority he possesses simply because he recognizes that in a lot of ways he is not in control, and that terrifies him. That might not make you feel any better, but truth rarely does. Take heart that there are those precious few out there who stand by you and support you right now, no matter how foul a mood you are in. And though it is tough for a loner to accept that there are people out there who they can rely on, try not to go it alone. You will be better for the company along the way...
