What Azur said... Turning that rough draft into a faceted jewel is
tough, but satisfying. Only when you've edited it to the point every sentence reads like it just organically dropped onto the page is it "written." Hang in.

Straight.
In that respect, editing has its plusses. When writing gets boring, that's an alternative.

Taps,
I know that can be dangerous. Sometimes I write half a chapter and then read and re-read that before going on to write the next bit.

Thanks for stopping by Foliage...
I find the writing a lot more fun than editing. Guess because when I write I try to do the best I can on the first round to save work later. The second and third go round is a lot less fun.

At least you get something done that way. I have a tendency to spend lots of time editing each page as it is written so I never move along.

word.smith - Really? Editing is my favourite part of writing because
that's where writing really begins.

And how!
Hate rewrites!

Even if it makes our work better.

I like polishing my writings, but I agree it's a sure pain when you have to rewrite long paragraphs.
