Am finally over in the U.S. now, am in a similar boat to yourself but have some friends/acquaintances through my in-laws.  'Tis lonely at times though.

Well at least you are mailing them out.

I am awful at keeping in touch the traditional ways...and even non-traditional, now that I think about Blogit lately. But I have excuses!

it's kind of dumb that they have them sitting right in front of them

and yet, they have to send them back instead of just reading them to let you know yeah or nay...
