Good Morning Rae......about the RLS...I've noticed a pattern over the years
-The news media comes out with a "New" disorder and then a month or so later they begin the commmercials for a new drug. I wonder how many people see the manipulation and brain washing. I can't watch much TV anymore because I find myself going into a Tourette's episode! LOL

Julia, news must travel slow to these parts..:) I had never heard of it
until the pharms. made "curing" it a cause. Of course, I've experienced restless leg movements during sleep before; who hasn't at one time or another, just as I've had social anxiety, (shyness) indigestion, depression, etc. Turning the normal side effects of living into conditions that must be medicated constantly - with side effects stranger than life - is a dangerous and money based ploy gone too far, imo.
Thank you for reading; your comments always appreciated..maybe you were a can-can girl in a previous life?...LOL.

that was humorous
but I remember hearing about Restless Leg Syndrome a long time ago, so it can't be new! ;-) I hate when I am just about to drift off to sleep and suddenly my leg does a kick like I'm auditioning to be a can-can girl. LOL.

Good evening, Wiley..I have about a third of Love & Sobriety left to finish
Again my friend, I'm in awe of your journey and storytelling gifts - I would have finished reading it the first day if my daughter hadn't picked it up when I wasn't looking and taken it to work with her to read on breaks..she sends myriad thumbs up too!

She returned it tonight finally, lol.
I'll be working on the review and blog in the next couple of days. Can hardly wait! Dance on!...:)

Wow, Holy Grail, LOL...I just returned from an impulse shopping trip
couldn't stop filling my cart/boxes with used books (40 of 'em for ten bucks; a library sale) then to a resale shop for more clothes, knick knacks, etc. that I have no idea where to wear or store, haha..think I got zapped by the money toss urge..:)..oh well, could be worse; at least I didn't get preggy or indebted to a casino!
When I heard those "urge" side effects, I nearly fell off the couch giggling. Hey, I luv, luv the name of your new condition - so fitting!

Thanks for visiting.

This was really funny but I'm afraid to laugh. The last time I went on a rant about pharmaceutical companies creating these weird conditions, I swear to you I started getting the strangest feeling in my legs the nest day. I read up, and I think I was having somehting called fasciculations. Hhhmmm...

Haha, that's good, Saul
If you tune in/lune out to the tube for your "news," you will find an endless array of improbable, unsubstantiated but oh so possible threats to fret over - personally speaking, baseless terrorist chatterings announced for purposes of distraction and fear mongering have to compete for my share of anxiety - I really don't want to kick my poor, beloved cat out of bed and out the window some restless night, lol..

Thanks for reading!

Who has time to worry about national security? My restless
legs refuse to obey my commands!! They won't let me sleep!!! Worse yet, they uncontrollably kick my wife!!!! Just yesterday, one of my wayward legs drop-kicked the neighbors chihuahua across the intervening privacy fence and into thier pool!!!!! The police were called!!! Mayhem ensued!!! All was forgiven (it's a medical condition, you know)!!!!! And I can't help but think of all those poor joggers and sprinters and soccer players and -- oh, the horror!!! The horror !!! What are we to do? Civilization as we know would end if not for those wonderful pharmaceutical companies!!!!!!
