Hi Reclessly
I don't live in the Usa so i have not seen the latests seeson of SYTYCD, although i loved the first two seasons. From what you wrote it seems that the creators of the the show have not heard of the saying "if it ain't broke don't mend it!". It's sad becuase they had such a winning premise.
Take care and enjoy Blogit

I love the show myself, Reclesslylost. And I agree with you.
I think Danny is by far the best dancer, technically. He has also seemed to come out of this intense, stoic self he exhibited at the beginning of the competition, which is working for him. And I love John Mayer, but you're right, those solos were excruciating. No one wanted to show any initiative, which, I believe, Nigel pointed out. I believe that some of the artists appearing on the show are part of the Idol corral (remember, they have the same producers, so...) But I miss Hawk. He was my favorite B-boy. I also like Pasha and Neil (it's going to be hard rooting for any one of them). And I like all the girls, but I think I like Sabra the best (Lacey is guaranteed a career, considering her past accomplishments and her brother forging inroads. Lauren has such a great personality, although I do not think she's as good technically as Sabra and Lacey.)
My favorite new show is Damages, on FX. Glenn Close is amazing; the show is tight, well-directed and well-written.
