Sorry about your cat.  I've had many more dogs than cats over the years because my grandfather was not a cat person, but loved dogs, when I was growing up.  I've adopted a few strays over the years, though, and missed them when they were gone.  I can form a mental picture of your cat pawing after the cursor.  I'm filing it with the image of the daughter-in-law's kitten dancing on my keyboard.

I miss my cat. She also liked the computer -- she was nosy about the
cursor moving across the screen, and would try to put her paw on it.  :)

Hi again, Ri
I think you're right, although I'll be playing second fiddle once the daughter-in-law is home.  I was just over at your blog checking out your latest pictures.  And thanks for the cat tips.

he loves you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! pet his brow and he'll fall
asleep beside you--- and what are you talking about--- the kitten inspired the word GRANDIOSE-- I, too, love that word.

You're right, Mary
Now that he's taking a nap, and I don't have to keep peeling him of my laptop, it is funny.  Of course being able to laugh at it, even while it's an aggravation is part of what makes it less aggravating -- and the source of a blog post.

Notapoet - Funny little kitten. Usually not funny while it's happening and
you want to do something.

Thanks, Mary
And I suppose it is funny in retrospect.  The cute little thing kept scooting up my leg to jump on my laptop.  Whenever I wanted to take a break I had to close the laptop or I would return to find him swatting the keys, or perched on them daring me to move him.

notapoet - That's a funny picture you painted about a kitten dancing on
your laptop!
