Indeed Horace's poem, We All Must Die and  Shakespear's allusion in Julius Caesar' 'Cowards die....' seem to address  similar questions. I am sure you are more versed in these things than I am. I await your decoding these great contributions, and contributors,  to the literature.

This is useful for my decoding of Shakespeare. "Graves" and "monuments"
have extra meaning there....  I like a Horace poem, but it would take me some time to dig it up.
