Yeah it happened a little over three years ago. I wrote this just now to find some closure and I feel like I did that. This poem is something of a sequel to a song that I wrote for the band I used to be in (the song was written about 9 months before the tragic event). I also wrote another poem about this girl right after I wrote this one. I might post it soon.
I'm sorry for your loss. It must have been really difficult to deal with.

Did this really happen? the emotions are so vivid in this poem. i love how it flowed together. it was really beautiful and tragic. it spoke to me. my brother comitted suicide in december and this poem reminded me of him. i thank you for writing exactly how i feel. :-D have a nice day
