diving course. Gosh, I sure hope it's not him. What odd ways to go. Those poor families.

Thoughts of mortality seem to be floating about.
Great post! Instantaneous deaths don't seem to get much press and are seldom heard of, but we know just as any other means of passage, they are happening. Thanks for sharing the thought; life is fragile. I once thought I lived my life thus far running and living extremely full days, striving, causing them to slip quickly away. I've since come to a different conclusion; such is life, slipping quickly away! Maybe it's my age, feeling the mortality even more so but I'm finding comfort for the first time in just being alive and not so much striving anymore. I'm seeing friends & family, particularly my age, suffer with age-related illnesses, (my sister) heart attacks (my friend), death, really makes you stop and think. Give me a water-proof, cardboard box (a comfortable air mattress), pen & pad, a fluffy quilt and enough to eat, as long as friends and family are near, I've found my bliss. My epitaph surely won't read; she drove a Mercedes and died without debt; rather she loved and was loved. It's all that matters in the end.

I believe we do have a time.. but it is not for us to know when.. just the fact that we know we have a time to die is what is important. That knowledge helps motivate us to be all that we are made to be. Not to waste any of the time we have been allotted. Great post.. I'm not going to ask why you wrote another post with death in it..lol

it is interesting when people start talking about how we have a time to die. I don't know if I agree with that or not. Shit happens. I agree with that lol.
