When I was in high school, Damond, I took Spanish because I figured that
I might need it more than any other language simply on the fact that almost the entire Western Hemisphere speaks Spanish.  And then there's Spain and former Spanish colonies, like Guam and the Phillipines.  So...

I don't know any Spanish, but

I don't know any Spanish, but I really think that I need to learn it.  Actually, I think that we all need to learn it at the rate they are taking over our country.

I already know passable Spanish, spanish dragon. Where I live, I'm glad I
took those classes 25 years ago.  I live in the fastest growing hispanic community east of the Mississippi.

Saul Relative,
I saw this headline and did not want to read it. Then tonite is a slow night! Lou Dobbs is a big fat know nothing, string along a metaphor, self-grandstanding, horse's ass. And my apology to the horses of the Planet. Don't you know these people research nothing and simply rely on the wind to blow smoke up our rear ends!

Yeah, Wavy. Gotta love a president who can say with a straignt face that
we have to understand that Compean and Ramos were convicted by a jury of their peers and that he would have to review the case, completely ignoring the fact that he commuted the sentence of his "good buddy" Scooter Libby in a case just a couple days ago.  Oh, wait.  My mistake.  There's no conflict.  He's simply siding with his "good buddy" Johnny Sutton in this one (sentencing two men to over a decade in prison for basicly lying -- the same damn thing Libby did -- can't be seen as "excessive", can it?  I mean, three years was way too much for stuffed shirt Libby, but two men protecting our border by shooting a drug dealer in the ass and covering up the "crime" scene getting a decade apiece in prison isn't excessive).

No, Really, What Country Am I In?
It's the United States but I'm not so sure anymore.  Right is wrong and wrong is right.  Go figure!
