I actually did not bring up WMDs...

I was discussing the very real fact that Iraq was VERY threatening to the outside world in many ways. This is not my opinionthis is simple fact. You may or may not agree that our preemptive action was the best approach to a solution, BUT there can be no argument about who and what Saddam Hussein was.

You might want to read an article I wrote in December 2001 for DefenseWatch: A Nuclear-Armed Iraq Must Be The Next Target . I haven't posted this article on BN because it does not fit into the current context, but it certainly gives us something to think about, especially when viewed in the light of what was happening back in December, 2001. (Perhaps I will post it, giving the time frame for readers.)

Muslins terrorists
I honestly think if Saddam would have the capability of attacking the world with his WsOMD, he would have done it during the invasion of his country. This coulda-woulda stuff never did wash with me and apparently I'm not alone in this reasoning. Maybe one day I'll win a million dollar lottery. I'll bet on North Korea.

The United States and its Coalition Allies attacked Iraq...
...NOT President Bush! And the reason we attacked was a preemptive elimination of Iraq's ability to threaten the world. The attack was correlated with the war on terrorism and our need to quarantine members of the Wahhabi sect, but had no direct relationship to it.

Muslim Council
If the Wahhabi Branch of Islam is our avowed eneny why did Bush attack Iraq in the first place? If it was to get rid of the eneny he targetd the wrong man.
