I think we folks down-under are tilted most of the time..  and yes, it would be tempting to say he has never had a scrape - or a speeding fine :(  his first car, like his sister's, was one to practice parking on... it had one or two fine lines on it. he is a bit more careful with his (thirteen-year-old) beemer.

Nice to see you too  - I'm told that heated keys are a thing of the past now we've all got remote keyless entry (which is fine until your battery drops out LOL). We used to squirt de-icer on the locks too, as I recall.

thanks so much for visiting - this is the coldest winter I can remember (here) and it has apparently been the coldest in twenty years. my son hibernates under the blankets when it's like this, and has his room at the "tropical" setting... wimp.

thanks for visiting:) although I don't take frost for granted, living here - unlike the UK where it would ice over while you were at the pub...

I thought at first that you had written 'never had a scrape on his car,' and I said, "wow, that's tempting fate."  Doesn't every day fill you with wonder!  Here we are having to close the windows to keep the searing heat out, and you are turning your heating on, and all because the planet tilts as it rotates.

Its hard for me to picture anywhere being cold and icy right now.  But, in preparation for winter coming up in a few months, where do you get a heated key?   Once I tried throwing a cup of hot coffee on the car's frozen lock out of desperation, but that just compounded the problem.

Good to read you again luv, and it sounds like Canada weather there right now while it's quite summer and warm her. Of course we have about 6 months of windshield scraping but being retired I'm not rushing out to work. I do work online some, and I like the being indoors when the blizzards and cold come.Happy things seem to be more pleasant for you my friend.

Funny how we just take things for granted - things our children may not have experienced before.  Thank for catching up on some of my poetry, the way.  I appreciate your kind comments....

Goodnight one and all.
Way past my bedtime; I haven't managed to get around to all my favourites yet, and I'll try to catch up tomorrow.
