decshak, thanks for visiting an old blog, a very well written one, I hope.
Thanks also for leaving a comment. I'm probably closer to your grandmother's age, and maybe, I remind you of her? I see that you love books as I love them, deeply.

Wonderful writing!
You remind me of my mother, sniff, or perhaps how I wish my mother had been....

LadyK, thanks for stopping in and reading
and commenting. Books are the best way to learn to empathinze with everyone on Earth. You walk in their shoes temporarily and Feel them and their situations and learn from their lives and choices, without actually having to do the things yourself.

Thoughtful & thought provoking! "They open up and tell me about themselves without my having to ask any questions and they are never defensive about their revelations."  That is profound - at least to me.  .

BENZINHA here, dominating the comments section of your BN pages......I'm going to bed.
It appears that my reading and catching up on blog comments after a vacation has me filling the comments page entirely with my own comments.......bueno, they will know that they are read....Everyone else must be OUT having fun in real life. No one called me to say which pub you were meeting at tonight. RATS!

If only I had the time.
I read like that when I was in high school.  Maybe again when the kids are older and writer's block has set in permanently.  :)

Benzinha, nothing beats a good book.
It's sad that so many people don't read anything more than the TV Guide or their horoscopes.
