Maybe he talked to you because he had no wife or family at home to cook him turkey and traditional dressing....maybe the dinner was all he was able to afford? Maybe he really was just strange...

Irish, if I had thought that he might ask me to go home with him I probably wouldn't have done that. I am a fair cook, but I wouldn't want to cook for someone that I didn't know plus if he had a family having to cook for them too would really be more than I would want.
I used to cook for Craker Barrel restaurant in Georgia, but I really only like to cook for the family.

Damon, happens to me all the time.
I've asked my daughter if I'm wearing a sign... talk to me... on my back, honest. I don't get it people just think you are interested I guess. I try to be polite but have never tried your approach, maybe I will next time. My luck they'll invite me home, and make me cook lol
