Your memory is pretty good. You are absolutely right about the flip flop of Journal and Poetry. I think Poetry has always had the most blogs overall, but not until the time you recalled did it challenge for being the most popular in the Top 100. Blogit does gradually change. But the same six categories continue to dominate for as long as I can remember. As for me being a poet -- not really. I'm just a dabbler playing at it. When it starts getting hard I leave it alone for a while. You, on the other hand, are a helluva poet. I don't even like poetry very much. But I like your work. I'm also in full agreement with your comment about commenting and mutual support. You've got it all down pretty well.

Not a poet--that's a laugh. And you can quote Buddha on that (Nite/Mornin!)

Hi Notapoet
I seem to remember that when you did those analyses last time, Journal was usually just ahead in the popularity stakes, but now you say Poetry is in the lead. That's great news for us poets, of which you are one, despite the ironic name. I mean, are any of the poets in the poetry section really poets? That includes me. But we do like to try our hand at poetry none the less, and we do very well - I think Blogit spurs us on to do better than we would otherwise do. The readers are an extremely important part of it, and that is why it's so important to read each others' blogs and comment on them.
