Re: WavyDavy
I guess that I went a bit overboard. I just can't stand McCain.

All he has done is countenanced by the First Amendment. That is the same amendment which protects your right to disagree. You may be surprised to find that I do not agree with him on some of the positions you cite; yet you may be hardpressed to deny his honesty and the service he has given to his country.
He did not make himself a Senator; his constituents did. Your suggestion about his pension seems very irrational.
Stay well; walk good my friend.

The Candidates-Senator McCain
I'm glad that Senator McCain's presidential campaign appears to be imploding. He is the coauthor of McCain-Feingold campaign finance law, which is an affront to freedom of speech. It's the first amendment to the United States Constitution no less. He is supposed to uphold the Constitution.
He is also the coauthor of the McCain-Kennedy Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act if enacted would give amnesty to millions of illegal aliens. Giving amnesy to lawbreakers? What leadership!
He is still a supporter of the Iraq war which hasn't helped us one damn bit. He is a supporter of free trade agreements which move jobs out of this country.
I salute him for his service during Vietnam but he has demonstrated in the above examples that he believes in selling out this country. He doesn't deserve to be president and if it was up to me to decide, I would immediately revoke his congressional pension. He doesn't deserve one. He isn't worth admiration or praise by anyone.
