Yes, there aren't many of us unusual ones who choose to think for themselves. Thanks for stopping by.

Unfortunately, it IS brainwashing. That's part of the power of the Church. Thanks for stopping by.

It is hard to convince yourself that your thoughts matter. We are so conditioned to take others' word for things.

To me it is listening to He whom I have found within, and all written words are as connections to my eye, as listening is the connection to my mind. Your writing always helps those connections my friend............................................................

That is so true and well-observed, Sannhet.
I really don't know why people accept other people's opinions and other traditions wholesale. But maybe it's me who is unusual?

To be truly authentic is a challenge. Yes… many people live their lives with regurgitated values or doctrines that they believe they should follow without truly thinking it through. God – and God – can’t be found in a book or a temple. It can’t be found by following a set of rules. It is found within and most people are too afraid to look there.

sannhet, wow, you hit the nail on the head with this post...so many people
just accept what someone tells them without investigating...it's scary b/c it's close to brainwashing.

sannhet, I love the thought-provoking nature of your writes you
provoke your readers to see for themselves, and not just sit with a belief....that is the real good they can do to themselves.
