Hi Durbin--you may not return to your question here but-just in case you do-this is what I know.A friend of ours-up in the Hightlands of Scotland-ALWAYS had a beard! Now for him-it aids STRENGTH! Or I should say-it aided strength-for he died 4/5 years ago and do you know what? For the very first time-and because his grandchild asked him to-he shaved of his beard and -without a word of a lie--he died in his sleep that night!!His wife explained all of that to us-and we knew of his beliefe as a beard-being the sign/aid of strength!!shalommyfriendfromchris.

I think its just a type of current stereo-typing perhaps. One of our most beloved presidents in Amrican History had a beard, Abraham Lincoln. He is not thought of as a commmunist or atheist to my knowledge. It is sad that anyone is labeled as offensive to society by their physical appearence. I love beards. ~Peace, OTA
